Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

There were so many things that were wrong with this stay. The first issue was the elevator was out of order starting Thursday. We checked in Monday there was enough time for them to call and ask if we wanted to cancel our reservation or find out if we are okay with that. We had three rooms all together. One room constantly had key issues where one key would work and the other would not locking people out of the room at times they needed to get in. The second room had issues with housekeeping who didn't do what they were supposed to do. Example didn't take the used towels. Didn't remake the beds. Just set the new towels down on the bed and that was it. A message was left for the general manager to call back and they never did. So an email was sent out and that also has not been responded to. Wanted to communicate about the stay unfortunately this was the worst SpringHill suites I've stayed in. My daughter and I have stayed in quite a few in multiple States and it's always been fantastic. Not sure what happened this time, but we won't be returning to that particular SpringHill suites in Michigan.

Me and mine stayed here for a 4 day 3 night work trip. At first it seemed nice until we learned about it. The elevator was out of service, so if they put you on the second or third floor you had to haul your luggage up and down the stairs. If you need to leave by 7am for the work gig, there is no breakfast to be had and only coffee pods in the room. Our room was not attending to or items restocked until our third day of stay. The staffs only comment to this was "I am the only one here" so there is no help with most concerns. The outside grounds are not well kept, which is not what one would expect from such a large chain. The microwave is a nice nostalgic 1990s model and the refrigerator wouldn't chill a hot dog, and is big enough for 4 bottles of water. That is the negative. Here is the pros. The room was initially clean, the bed was comfortable and the room was spacious enough for 2 people. This is a a $80.00 dollar a night at best hotel. That is all.

First time staying here. I'm from the upper peninsula and am use to the big brands being nice and clean. This room is quite nice (king w/ pullout sofa), it's broken up for visiting and privacy. I always get a king with pullout when I can. Gives you a place to sit rather than an accent or desk chair for 1. Check in was nice. Breakfast tbd. No tub (boo) and there is a few crustees in the grout on the bottom. CLR is so cheap, it just takes a little to get that out. Overall, it's pretty nice. Location has everything you would need in walking distance. Brilliant! Additional notes: knob taken off fridge so it can't be adjusted, keeping something frozen was a fail, no facial wipe or bar, areas in shower that can't be reached for cleaning (no fault of staff, they are wonderful) no blow dryer, coffee yes tea no.
